To celebrate #materialdesign 's first year in existence, we set out to find some of the best-in-class examples of the system being adopted and applied out in the world. We created a showcase to highlight some of these beautifully materialized apps on Google Play (https://goo.gl/YUZs9e), and of those 18, we chose 6 for their smart application of specific elements of material design. Read more about the 6 Material Design Award winners over on google.com/design. http://goo.gl/Qx20Sz #io15

Hello everyone, Google IO is here with us once again. This time, more amazing!

Google I/O is two days of inspirational talks, hands-on learning, and a chance to hear more about Google's latest developer products. Join us to learn about product and platform innovations at Google, starting with a live kickoff from Google's Senior Vice-President of Products, Sundar Pichai

The Google IO 2015 Extended JKUAT will be going down on 28th May 2015 from 5.30 PM at NSC ground floor, room 107.
Things to expect: Google IO 2015 live keynote streaming, overnight hackathon, a code jam, app and startup showcases, fast internet and of course, pizza+too much coffee all night!

We will also have a team from Google San Francisco who will be streaming our event live for all the world to see. You have the chance to interact with them and show yourself to the world in an amazing fashion.
Register to attend at this link before Wednesday noon 27th May 2015.

If you have an app to showcase, a piece of art, an engineering prototype or any other cool stuff, request to be given a stand by sending a mail to denpalrius@gmail.com.

Keep watch on this page for further communication. See you on Thursday, 5.30 pm.
