You are welcomed to the Progressive Web Apps Event on Saturday 9th July 2016 at NSC Lab 305 from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm.

“A Progressive Web App uses modern web capabilities to deliver an app-like user experience.”

Progressive Web Apps bring features we expect from native apps to the mobile browser experience in a way that uses standards-based technologies and run in a secure container accessible to anyone on the web. This is the future of the web.

There will be code-lab sessions for you to be able to build these amazing apps, with the facilitation of our trainers. So you are encouraged to carry your laptops. Refreshments and lunch will be provided.

Kindly register for free using the link below:

To celebrate #materialdesign 's first year in existence, we set out to find some of the best-in-class examples of the system being adopted and applied out in the world. We created a showcase to highlight some of these beautifully materialized apps on Google Play (https://goo.gl/YUZs9e), and of those 18, we chose 6 for their smart application of specific elements of material design. Read more about the 6 Material Design Award winners over on google.com/design. http://goo.gl/Qx20Sz #io15
