We had reservations for 2:15 and arrived 10 minutes early so they told us it would be a 10 min wait. No problem. 2:30 rolls around and we had to go in to be seated after telling them we would just be outside. So much for making a reservation. When we were seated my napkin was dirty and had to ask for another one. After a really poor explanation by the waitress we ordered. The cheese course went fine. We then started the protein course and we had a shrimp that was not cleaned properly leaving a large poop vein in the shrimp. We asked for another and the waitress brought out 4. Great right? Except none of them were properly cleaned and one of them hadn't even been cut open! Also when bringing out the proteins she spilled the mimosa on the tray leaving some of the plates wet on the bottom. If your really looking for a great night out and splurging on a premium experience this is NOT the place for you!

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. Where to start??? My boyfriend took me here last night for my bday dinner - he reserved a "private" room but they sat someone else there after he called many times and paid for a very expensive dinner package. It's not like the place was busy - there were many open seats. The private table was not private at all (we walked by it when they sat us at our other table in the back). The manager kept saying how sorry he was for the misunderstanding but we didn't see him for the rest of the night (we were there for almost 3 hours). The booths were so small and our waitress was HORRIBLE. She was rude, she didn't come to the table and she looked like she had just gotten out of bed and had a hang over. The food was not as good as I expected it to be - and plus we had to cook it ourselves! For how expensive this place is you would think they would cook the food for you, instead they bring out raw meat and make you cook it at your table. Our bill was $170 and we didn't even stay for the last course it was that bad. I will never go here ever again and I would never recommend this place to anyone. Save yourself the frustration and go to one of the many other restaurants in the area.

My husband and I have been to the Melting Pot two or three times already this year. We absolutely love it. We went for my birthday and they knew it ahead of time, so that made it even more special. We also just went about a month ago. We just had our second daughter and it was our first night out, we had mentioned it to the waitress, and during dessert she brought us two glasses of champagne on the house.

I cook food at home and go to a restaurant when i dont feel like cooking. I suppose most people do the same. If u want to cook by yourself and pay a mighty bill then, yes please go to this restaurant. My friends and me (3 of us) paid a $100 not including the tip!! Basic idea was to try fondue and have a good time. Their Fondue was good but their main course SUCKED BIG time. They kept a pot of hot water and approx. 8-9 pieces of meat. You have to put the pieces of chicken/steak in the pot of hot water. After 2 minutes take them out and eat. Man, if i wanted to eat boiled meat that is cooked by me, i dont know why would i want to go a restaurant in the 1st place. Secondly...why the F*** will i pay $100 for that cr*p? IMHO, they should give me my money back and also pay me for cooking, which is what they are paid to do. Its a RIP OFF!!

worse service ever! if your server is Michele. a 50, 55ish white woman, just get up and leave. she will spill you drinks. talks way to much. she smells of cigarettes, pot, and booze. I think she drank more then what she served her customers. When we complained to the manager. all she did was roll her eyes. The food was ok, no complaints there. we will never eat there again.

Wonderful unique dining experience. The service was awesome and the server very insightful when helping me as a first time customer. The food was so flavorful and tantalizing that it makes you want more...definitely go here on an empty stomach. It is a bit pricey but you know that when selecting the restaurant in the first place. Great deals on Sundays (25/person) and on Mondays (ladies night 16/person) Must try new experience!

if you go on their special "girls night" or "80's night" etc you will get great food at a GREAT price. The chocolate fondue is the best part.... its hard to wait until the end for the dessert but its worth it! :)
