We had an amazing time last weekend at TEDxManhattan ! So many inspiring people and ideas.

Here's a cool shot of Green Bronx Machine's "tower garden" concept! For those who were watching, which speaker was your favorite?

The service was very good, our waiter was attentive and the rest of the staff was as well. The ambiance is nice, but feels a bit like the hotel restaurant that it is. The food was mediocre at best. I had the grilled octopus which had only a burnt flavor and not much else. The lamb entree was very bland. My wife had the burrata and loved it. Her rib eye steak was ok, but not fantastic. The cappuccino was excellent. Overall I was disappointed and would not return. For the prices they are charging the food should have been excellent.

First up let me say that some of my food was really excellent and met expectations for the prices charged. The chicken livers were a particular highlight, however there are some significant issues. The wine is massively overpriced with $65 charged for an 8 quid bottle of Malbec which was not pleasant to drink at all as it was served at far too low temperature. This was the first indication of a lack of understanding of what makes a good experience, oh and I'll decide when my glass needs topping up thanks! The main issue though were the vegetarian options served to my wife. If you don't know how to make a vegetarian meal don't offer one. 12 bucks for a plate of rocket with a couple of shavings of fennel is offensive and there is no need for two cups full of quinoa with the roast cauliflower either. Stuck somewhere between trying to offer American sized portions and pseudo fine dining is only ever going to end in failure. Emperor's new clothes I'm afraid.

We have eaten here many times when we travel to NY. This time it was terrible. I had the chicken with roasted sweet potatoes and seasonal vegetables. From the first bite, all I could taste was garlic. It was not at all expected and was not at all welcome. There was no other flavor at all. Our waiter was AWOL. Bread is no longer served with your meal. It has to be ordered separately. Is the restaurant under new management? New Chef? Very disappointing. The noise level is thunderous. Conversation is nearly impossible.

Had a nice table, not as noisy as some reviewers noted. Waiter was good, again contrary to what others have said. Appetizers ordered - Red Snapper Ceviche - good but not as exciting as my partner had hoped; I had the parmesan flan with wild mushrooms and it was delicious! Then we waited for entree's, and waited and waited some more. The waiter came over and apologized, there was a mix up. Then the manager came over and apologized. Then when they did bring it out the manager again apologized and offered to have us as their guest. It was above and beyond the expectation. My wife had the monk fish and she was delighted, I had the red cabbage ravioli and while hers was more exciting mine was very nice. Overall a lovely evening that could have been miserable had it not been for the hospitality of the manager and staff. Good food in an out of the way place.

At 8:45am on a Monday morning the maitre'd refused to let a wedding couple, who were staying in the hotel (Ink 48) and had dined in this restaurant, take a single "first look" photo in one of their alcoves near the entrance of the hotel. It was pouring out. The couple had planned on doing the photo outdoors or on the roof. THE PLACE WAS EMPTY. The guy was just being a jerk, right in front of the groom saying "we are not part of the hotel." Ok fine - but you are IN THE LOBBY and the couples guests were literally dining in the restaurant and buying coffee from your establishment. Penny wise, pound foolish. Some people have no class. The host on 3/28 at 8:45 (a male) is one of those people. No class at all.

After a visit to the Intrepid with some family from the west coast, we took a quick 10 minutes walk to Print. It is inside of the Kimpton Ink Hotel. We had reservations on a Wednesday afternoon and it was pretty crowded for being on that part of the city. The service was excellent, the waiter gave us the best options then the maître d came to help us to decide about the best glasses of wine according to our dishes, everything was delicious. We were not in a rush and no one pressured us to leave at all. We definitively will come back for dinner soon to enjoy more of they great food and to check out their rooftop bar.

Food was really good, but this place is more of a hotel bar. It's loud and the table we had me sitting very far from my wife. To hear each other over the noise we had to lean in and scream. Service wasn't terrible, but it took too long to take our order, bring our food, check, and change. Google only has a 5 star system and the food alone here would probably get 4 stars. The lamb was great and a huge portion. The grilled octopus appetizer was really tasty and plentiful. Chickpeas were a nice touch. The fish was just OK, nothing special and not a great portion size. Dessert was really good (I forget exactly what it was in it, but the whipped cream was the best part) The bread is delicious, but costs $5. Really? Things like this, and the overall feel of the place gave it 3 stars, but the food by itself would get 4.

Went there for Saturday brunch. The kouign-Amann was amazing. Food good, but unfortunately was overshadowed by the half-assed service: after we got our food the waitress never came back to check on us or bring something I asked for. Bad service makes the whole meal bad, so I don't anticipate going back.
