Requested a disabled access room, ok apart from 4 stairs down to lift it was a straight access from lift. The bathroom however had a very high bath, with glass shower screen attached to side, this meant it was impossible to sit on end of bath and swing legs in, and too high to step in, toiletries were minimal and not replaced, sink was cracked, Windows were filthy, view of chimneys only. OK it was the 4th floor. Room was tired.. Coffee 2 tubes of Nescafe, 1 packet of biscuits not replenished. Breakfast area is the bar.Buffet service, No table cloths, Tea served in mugs, Cafe 100 yds away cleaner, provides better service. Bed was so hard impossible to sleep plus constant noise from street, sirens, ambulances etc.No double glazing. Bar ran out of bitter and some drinks which are expensive Cost £175.00 per night.Go to travel lodge or even better Premier Inn. Parking £20. a night with discount

Perfect position looking over sea, shingle and piers! Easy walk into town down a dozen lanes! The hotel has a pool and gym in the basement somewhat frozen in 80s mode but one of the main reasons for me to stay there!!! The hotel is an old one so its conversion is somewhat hapharzard, stairs in random places, lots of fire doors and uneven fllored corridors...Otherwise kind and helpful staff, very warm (! maybe gotten too used to the draughty homes in NZ!!!) room and free wifi made it a great stopping place between the hectic conference stop of two days I spent there! loved loved Brighton XX

I had a room with a view a friendly seagull sat on my window sill I spent my evenings in the hotel bar. Staff are really nice. I found it comfortable and easy going. Breakfast overlooking the sea was memorable. Would def return.

Below average experience. To many stairs, which is a nightmare for toddlers. Really tired hotel, everything looks and feels old. Shower pressure was bad. Breakfast quality was also below average. Pool is on the gym so AC makes the pool cold. Room had no temperature control, can't imagine this in the summer. And the walls look like paper, could hear everything... Had a really bad sleep.

Great hotel opposite the beach and right next to the nightlife. Very impressed with the new leisure club where I could update my Facebook page whilst working out!

Stayed there on a business trip and it was OK. Large and clean room. Bathroom was quite old but overall experience was OK. Free wifi is always an advantage.
