Apple just updated a bunch of icons for iOS 11. These are pretty minor design changes.๏ปฟ

Bringing minimal approach to your photography with a single app, TouchRetouch

I have been using this app for quite some time now for retouching images. And I gotta say, this little app is very powerful and definitely handy for mobile photography.

Even though +Snapseed is a useful tool for adjusting curves and color balance, TouchRetouch is a step ahead of everyone else when it comes to repairing images. This has been my go-to app for heal brushing on the go.

The app cost $2, but it's definitely worth it!

Apple's road map for late 2017-2018 has been leaked by Foxconn insiders. Let's dive into the leaks!

๐Ÿ”น iPhone ๐Ÿ”น

๐Ÿ”ธ The new OLED iPhone will be called 'iPhone X', which will release alongside iPhone 7S and iPhone 7S Plus later this year โ€” I still don't believe in this naming scheme; I'm leaning more towards 'iPhone Pro'. The 'X' comes from 'Project X', a codename given by the iPhone team.

๐Ÿ”ธ TouchID will be removed for the iPhone X, and will rely on 3D sensing camera modules. Apple's final prototype design had TouchID embedded within the screen, but was removed later due to unreliable scans; in other words, it was very slow and didn't match Apple's standard. TouchID within the elongated power button was also tested, but the design was ditched in favour of 3D sensors โ€” The 3D sensors will work in dark environments, and Apple seems to be very happy with the outcome.

๐Ÿ”ธ Apple's 'ProMotion' which was introduced with the new iPad Pros will be coming to the iPhone X. Get ready for some 120Hz refresh rates!

๐Ÿ”ธ iPhone X will carry the iPhone 4/4S design, with glass & stainless steel chassis. Good design choice, Apple.

๐Ÿ”น VR/AR ๐Ÿ”น

๐Ÿ”ธ Apple had plans to introduce VR headsets with the iPhone X, but the project has been shelved in favour of AR (Yay!).

๐Ÿ”ธ Apple will be introducing a Google Glass-like product called 'Iris'. This smart-glass will be powered by Apple's ARKit.

๐Ÿ”น MacBook ๐Ÿ”น

๐Ÿ”ธ Apple's planning to redesign the MacBooks will an all-new look and feel. The back-lit Apple logo might make a return!

๐Ÿ”ธ Magsafe will be coming back next year! (probably the most important bit of the leak lol)

๐Ÿ”ธ MacBook Air will be discontinued next year.

The first rule of Fight Club marketing: You never hype a product that isn't ready for the promised release date.

Any device that isn't in the hands of reviewers and customers within a week of the reveal, is essentially DOA. The more you push the release date, the closer you get to Note 8, iPhone 8, and Pixel 2 territory with no real hype left to survive the onslaught.

This is definitely not a good sign for new company entering an already saturated market.๏ปฟ

I know many are big fans of Steve Jobs, me included, but this is just ridiculous!

Movies and documentaries about Steve Jobs are fine, even though they depict him as an evil genius to fuel drama for the general moviegoers... But an opera about him!? Come on!

I canโ€™t wait for a Broadway Musical about Jobs. Hopefully Scott Forstall will agree with that idea /s๏ปฟ
