I stopped by to look at a used car they had posted up online. I found it shortly later in their showroom. The whole time I was there (about 10 minutes) I barely got a "hello" out of one salesman (he may have been busy with a customer). Noone came to greet me, offer help, show me the car, nothing. It's not like I was looking at some cheap $5k car. I was there to look at a nice Maserati. Walked by a few more salesmen on my way out and none of them said a thing. Very rude and I guess they don't want my business. I'll just have to keep a look out somewhere else.

Had a very difficult (time sensitive) travel situation swiftly and effectively dealt with the fantastic service department at Vorderman. The customer service was exceptional, starting with Abbey and finishing with the crew that fixed my car. I feel very fortunate that my service issue happened in Fort Wayne, as I was treated very well and am confident that the repair was done properly and won't happen again. I would recommend Volderman VW to anyone who would like to feel like an appreciated customer.

I was really hesitant on giving Vorderman a low rating because I usually like taking my car here. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly and have always treated me well. I had taken my car in to get some repair work done due to a heavy oil leak I had, which was diagnosed and quoted by Larry on a previous visit. I had the issue diagnosed again, and the problem stemmed from a faulty vacuum pump. Larry had told me on my previous visit that the water pump needed replacing as soon as possible. I took this into serious consideration since the car had well over 100,000 miles. Larry and the head technician showed me the leak while the car was lifted, but I was quoted almost double the original amount for the repair. I decided to have maintenance work done on the vehicle per recommendation of the technician in hopes that the leak would stop that way, since neither he or Larry seemed to know exactly why there was an oil leak. Larry was trying to be very apologetic since the original quote he gave was a mistake he made. He kept telling me that he would "think it over". Not sure what that meant. I asked if my car would still get washed and vacuumed and Larry had confirmed that it was a standard procedure the service department performed whenever you took your vehicle in for service. So, I received a shuttle ride home from Bob, who was extremely nice, while my car was being worked on, and when I returned and paid my bill, I noticed the car was still dirty and not vacuumed. Larry seemed to be speechless and apologized once more. My car ended up getting washed when I informed one of the front desk guys. I was given some complimentary services for the mistake. I was really disappointed with this visit. I've never had any issues in the past and I hate giving negative reviews. I just wasn't expecting this from them. I left confused and without any real answers as to what I came in for, both regarding price and what actual work needed to be done. Oh well....there's always next time I guess.

I was in contact with Vorderman for over 1 year in anticipation of getting delivery of a Volkwagen Golf R. They were amazing in keeping in touch. A very honest dealership. With the Golf R, many "other" VW dealerships were known to take deposits on cars they had no idea when or if they could obtain or to charge exorbitant fees. Jay, Denise, Lori all kept me up to speed. Jay placed me on a wait list and would not take any money down until a car was allocated. Buying process was very smooth; no shady add on's, options such as extended warranties explained but not pushed. I bypassed two closer dealerships to work with Vorderman and will gladly travel the extra distance for any future VW purchases!

Had a major mechanical issue while traveling through IN. Was treated like a long time valued customer from the outset and throughout the service period despite the fact I will never be a return customer to there shop as I reside in MN. Was dealt with fairly even though I was in a vulnerable situation as we all are if we have auto troubles on the road during a summer vacation. I wish I lived in this area or could transplant Vorderman's to MN so I could use this dealership. Felt treated fairly and with honesty about the problem and possible solutions. Wish I could say the same about my local dealership in St Paul. Chad, the general manager and Ivan in service worked with me on solutions and showed flexibility that I have not experienced in other auto dealerships. John Eads Maplewood, MN

I worked with Caril and Naomi. I was doing my car search over the internet. Caril was very quick to follow up and continued to keep me in the loop about the car I had inquired about. Naomi was also very helpful and quick to respond even though I had several questions and requests during the process. The after sale follow up call is also a nice perk. After being rear ended and having my vehicle totaled, it was very nice to work with staff that was willing to help and get me back in a reliable vehicle quickly and efficiently. Thanks Caril and Naomi! ~ Lynette

I was traveling to Ft Wayne on business and our VW needed an oil change. I was impressed with the way they took care of me. In fact, Larry and his team did such a good job that I had some optional work done two weeks latter by them. Top rate crew! Old school service and customer care! I think I will still drive the 2.5 hours to let them work on the car. Yes, they are that good.
