Wow! That would sure spoil a weekend, if the rain didn't already. I am sure I would have packed up and left as soon as I recognized the situation.

Good thing about boondocking is you can always leave whenever you want. I hope you two don't have the same problem here at Saddle Mountain BLM. This is my second year visiting here and I love it!

I can't believe you passed yourself off as a senior and the bragged about it.  I would love to be so young.  My Dad flew B17s during World War II.  Pilot all his life.  I guess the rich people like places that have Palm in the name.  Pretty ritzy area you were in.  Yes, it was pretty warm down here at Earth level yesterday.

Idyllwild reminds me of the touristy town of Julian high in the mountains west of here.  More snow though.  Looks like a nice day for a drive and glad your cloudy days are over.  Pretty sunset.

Glad you set me straight, Patsy Irene!  I think there is an octopus on that tent you took a picture of.  Hope those inside are okay.  I get envious when you talk of all that hot water.   I've been dry camping for almost seven weeks now and only one night  with full hook-ups.  I think you're going to get your b--- kicked at Pool by Bill before you leave on Monday.

Got to watch those morning drinks, Patsy!  The pictures of the fog are neat.  It looks like rain here, but the rain never reaches the ground.  Cloudy here today, but the sun tries to peek out.  May just have to make another field trip.  No water this time.  Should have given Yuma a bath while I was at that stream yesterday.

We're getting those clouds down here in Borrego Springs today, but the temperature is still warm.  Think I will have another down day and try to get rid of some of this darn dust!

Looks like you two had a great day with new friends.  Loved the pictures of the birds.  Especially, the Cooper's Hawk.  Great shots of it!

Heard of people getting seriously hurt or killed by a falling pine cone, so keep an eye out.  Check google if you don't believe me.  Of course, they are a little larger than a size 8 so you're safe.  Looks like a very nice place to stay.  I don't think the guy with the Charger will be doing much off-roading.

Looks pretty way up there.  Still wondering why you two picked that place to stay.  I had to look closely to see the little grey squirrel.  It blended right in with the rock.
With the Pacific time zone, even I can get up with the sun.   Problem is, I'm ready for bed at 6:30!
Have fun!
