Vitamin D toxicity — What are the risks of too much vitamin D?

Food and atmosphere great, service hilariously bad. Came here for brunch on a Saturday, sat on the back patio. Took 15 minutes for someone to come by with menus or to offer coffee. After trying to make eye contact with servers for 5-10 minutes I finally had to call out "excuse me" to get attention, and once we got brought menus, no one was particularly nice to us to make up for the fact that they'd previously ignored us. Additionally, they got my date's meal wrong and we saw several others around us send back incorrect orders. The food was good, but only go if you've got a couple hours to kill.

We go to Sushi Ichiban at least once a month, usually more like once a week! The food is great - it's not a "real" sushi experience, but it is 100% better than any chain Sushi Go-Round you've been to. The most important thing is that the food is super fresh. They don't use tuna "scrape," they use real chopped up tuna in their tuna rolls, their portions are more than generous, and they use real, fresh wasabi. The staff is friendly, the decor is fun, and you really can't beat the Wednesday/Saturday deals ($1.25 for most plates for dinner on Wednesday and all day Saturday).

Mickey and his crew are the greatest, I wouldn't take my car anywhere else! When I take my car in, I always get a call about a half hour later telling me what's wrong with it and how much it will cost to fix, what is necessary and what is optional (and he is very honest about what truly is optional) It's often done and fixed the same day and the prices are much lower than at a dealership/Jiffy Lube/Les Schwab. He never upsells or gouges and for that I am so thankful!

We went to Hippo for shelves for speakers and came out with shelves and hardware for less than $20. The shelves were actually solid wood cabinet doors from a house built in the 20s. When Bobby saw the brackets we'd picked out, he sent us outside with some sandpaper to rough them up, then spray-painted them for us. He also threw in the screws and a screwdriver bit for our drill. This, on top of all the free advice he gave us on installing the shelves! Fantastic experience, will shop here again!

I've lived close to this place for almost 2 years, but never stopped in until today. It's so cute, so friendly, and SO open until 11 pm. We split a scoop of spumoni ice cream ($2) but I'm going back to try all of the cakes.

The atmosphere is fun, the stylists are hilarious and irreverent, the cuts are great, and the prices are totally reasonable. I discovered this place years ago, started getting my hair cut regularly by Jeff (who, it should be broadcast from the mountaintops, KNOWS HOW TO CUT EXTREMELY FINE HAIR and not make it look like crap!), followed him to a couple other salons until he ended up back here. I'm glad he is, because I missed the constant banter between stylists, the bizarre topics of conversation (strip clubs, Charles Manson and... macaroon recipes?) and the easygoing vibe.
