5 out of 10. Pretty average. Nothing special but nothing terrible either.
This was my first time there. I got 2 slices of pepperoni, soda, and chips -- a pretty standard lunch. The pizza was good enough, nothing to write home about. It reminded me of college dining hall pizza. Maybe the ingredients used weren't very high quality, but I can't be sure.
The 3 women working there were very, very friendly, even after a mixup with the cash register. They all seemed like very nice people and they certainly made the experience better.
Darleen's is walking distance from the office and I see no major reason not to go back. I'm sure I'll visit again.
