If only I can actually share this with Google Nose ... :)
This dish is a variant of rujak from my hometown, Surabaya. The main ingredients are slices of cooked buffalo or cow lips! It also contains slices of pencit (young raw mango), pineapple, cucumber, kangkung, lontong (rice cake), tofu and tempe, all served in a black sauce made from petis (black fermented shrimp paste), chili pepper and ground peanuts. It is usually topped with kerupuk (Indonesian shrimp crackers). Its presentation won't pass any (western) cooking contest, but I swear, its taste is delicious.
But if Google Nose is indeed real, I might begin with the mighty Durian :p
