A night at Las Ventas Plaza de Toros bullfights in Madrid as shot through a NIkon1 V2 from the stands, my first time using this camera body to see what it would do. While I respect the artistry, pageantry, & courage of the Matadors, I couldn't wrap my head around the cruelty of a bullfight. I'm glad I had the chance to shoot it but it's not something I ever want to see again.

They appeared to be pretty well padded. Before they started padding them, lots more horses died than bulls….

Putting the Nikon1 V2 through its paces yesterday for the first time. Click on the link to see some of the images I got while walking around Madrid yesterday afternoon and evening.

This is why I picked up a Nikon1 V2 dirt cheap after waiting for the V3 version to come out.

Contact the Media Relations department and request a credential, DaaniBeats. If it's a PGA event, you'll likely need affiliation with a media outlet.

150th Anniversary of the Battle of Natural Bridge fought on March 6, 1865 in Woodville, Florida. Union troops attempting to take Tallahassee by crossing the St. Marks river on this natural land bridge were repelled by Confederate troops and driven back to the safety of warships harbored on the Gulf Coast near St. Marks. Tallahassee became the only Confederate state capitol never to fall into the hands of the Union before the Confederacy surrendered a few months later.

Everything about Jeff and Swain Pools is top notch. Not only is Jeff extremely courteous and professional, he is fair, honest and dependable. He takes the time to walk you through any options you might have when needing his services and goes the extra mile to make sure what you decide is in your best interest. We tried other pool service companies in town before finding swain Pools. Some were unreliable, some didn't appear to have a staff that knew what they were doing. Since we started using Swain Pools for repair and service of our below ground pool years ago, our pool has never looked better in terms of water clarity. Every time Jeff has rendered advice as to what to do or how to do it, it has been spot on. This has saved us a lot time, aggravation and money. It's always a good feeling to know that when you need something done that you can't do yourself, your needs will be more than fulfilled by someone upon whom you depend, be it a mechanic, a plumber or a roofer. I depend on Jeff and Swain Pools and he has always come through beyond any reasonable expectations.
