A GMless Powered by the Apocalypse game? Designed for film noir settings, including (and specifically mentioning) Blade Runner? By +John Adamus?

Backed so hard.

And it's already funded, less than 24 hours in.

Confirmed: I have Flu B. Glad I got that flu shot back in October.

My daughter wanted to show off some of her original characters, so she made a shirt and wore it to PAX East last weekend.

Dang. #ProudPapa

This one should be subtitled "State of Wombat's Head". Non-fiction, but about fiction. Rambly but short, and I hope you can identify with some of it. Thanks for reading.

Soooo....
I guess the +GeekDad folks liked our Tabletop System Wars panel at #PaxEast2017.

Well done, +Brian Liberge, +Brent Newhall, +Meg Gameologists, +Bob Smith, +Tresi Arvizo, and +Matt Maranda. Sadly, we didn't record the panel this year, but Meg tweeted out her notes (starting here: https://twitter.com/bg_meg/status/840649752903581700), and we have past panels recorded.

If you like Innovation, pick up Mottainai. You tuck cards on all 4 sides of your mat, which can get a little unwieldy, but the complexity that Carl Chudyk packs into 54 cards is a thing to behold.

So our board game haul from #PaxEast2017 may have gone slightly over budget.

Any tabletop RPG folk planning on being at #PAXEast tomorrow? If so, I'm running a Classic Traveller game, probably after dinner, and probably somewhere other than the Tabletop area so I have a shot at having a voice for my panel on Saturday. Wanna play?

I've got 10 pregens ready to go, and I'm guessing it'll run in 2-3 hours, maybe a little more depending on how many players we end up with. Let me know if you're interested, and I'll figure out a time and place.

Also, we're back for the 5th(!!) year of the Tabletop System Wars panel, running Saturday at 1:30 PM in the Bumblebee Theater. Bring your campaign ideas, we'll throw RPG system ideas at you.

Because game-inspired poetry, that's why.

Far future anapestic tetrameter with a healthy dash of Grimtooth, to be more precise, though it could fit in a wizard's basement with very little alteration.

It's been too long since I've actually written something that I wanted to write. So here. It's half-baked, but it's done. And now it's Out There.

Have some Far Future fiction in the form of an Imperial Navy recruitment holovid. Also: science kicks ass.
