Tasty, juicy, just a little greasy, and trendy, Shake Shack's burgers topped with signature Shack Sauce never ceases to draw a crowd. If beef isn't your thing, don't despair. Vegetarians and staunch meat lovers will flip for the Shroom Burger (a deep fried portobello mushroom filled with cheese). If you don't want to give up your meat but still want the shroom, try the Shack Stack and brace your arteries. Their shakes, particularly the Fair Shake (made with fair-trade coffee) are thick, rich, and sure to cause cravings once you've had your first. Whether or not you like ballpark cheese fries, it's worth trying Shake Shack's iteration to experience a creamy cheese sauce that's made entirely from real cheese. Delicious. While, it would be nice if the patties were a little larger, and the fries smaller, Shake Shack satisfies time after time.

my dog barrington rates shake shack a 5 for the following reasons: 1. pooch-ini. it's a doggie ice cream sundae with vanilla custard, peanut butter, and dog biscuit. did my dog die over this? yes, he almost did because he was stuffing his face with his ice cream sundae in 20 degrees weather shivering his tails off. but hey, it was his 3rd birthday treat :) 2. dog o bones: a bag of dog biscuits from bocce. the sound of me shaking the bag of biscuits is like music to his ear, he will come running. 3. "line b": a separate line for those who are only ordering frozen treats so we can hurry the heck up to get him his doggie sundae. was my wallet happy? no, because i just spend 4 dollars on a ice cream sundae for my dog. but hey, he's the best pal i've ever had, why not :) the mad. sq. park location is great for human and 4-legged friends. plenty of park benches and tables to enjoy outdoor dining when it's not so frozen cold.

OMG! This place has the BEST BURGERS AND Fries! Which I find hard to say cause I grew up on In-N-Out. Great outdoor location in a nice quaint park. When I went there was a free concert in the evening. It looks like there's always long lines, but it's totally worth the wait. There's also a live cam feed that shows the wait so you know what you're getting into. I hear the shakes are also to die for, I'll have to go back for another review of those.

Was a great experience overall. Order a Double Shake burger with fries and a chocolate shake. Line was not bad maybe a ten minute wait to submit my order. Once that was done went to the other side with my pager that goes off when your order is ready. Then once I got my order managed to get a seat in their lighted courtyard. Would go back again.

All this hype about Shake Shack! Long lines have turned me off. To my surprise, the lines moved fast (waited about 5 minutes). You then get your little plastic toy thing that lights up when your food is ready (just like any other restaurant). The food took about 20 minutes before it was ready. So, bring a friend to pass the time! The outdoor eating space is a nice area to sit and enjoy your meal. When you go later in the evening, there are cute lights hanging from the trees to light up the eating area. The space heaters would have made this experience perfect if all of them actually worked! We were lucky enough to sit near one that did. I asked the girl at the counter about the heaters and she said that they were broken and there was no way to relight them. HOPEFULLY, heaters will be the least of our concern in a few weeks! I ordered the classic Shack Burger (something like that) and fries. It was pretty good but it didn't blow me away. It tasted just as a burger should; not too greasy or mushy. I will definitely return to try their shakes in the summer.

Visiting the Shake Shack is great fun--if you want to wait in line anticipating a heart squeezing, liver-testing and stomach expanding meal. Besides the issues with the popularity of the venue, the restaurant is in the center of Madison Square Park. Altogether, everyone anticipates the food, I enjoyed the park and am glad to have experienced a unique burger phenomenon in NYC.

This place offers some of the best burgers in the city! Tried their SmokeShack burger which was filled with applewood smoked bacon and cherry peppers. It had the right amount of kick to the burger and just the right sauce to top it off. Their fried on the otherhand are crinkled and taste better than your average fast food chain. If you plan on staying to eat, the dining are is in the outside and your gonna expect a lot of people just sitting and dinning. The only thing I disliked it the long lines. But understandable at this is the 1st Shake Shack that opened.
