I am the director of the Future of Privacy Forum, an industry supported think tank focused on responsible data practices. We do a lot of work with Facebook and with Apps. We have been noticing many people who appear to be inadvertently publishing the Viddy videos they view with your app to their timelines - users who watch a racy video do not seem to be very well aware that watching EQUALs publishing.
We think apps are directly best placed to address privacy concerns, rather than Facebook or platforms playing whack a mole. Can you tweak the messaging on your app to deal with this? Please advise. Happy to discuss further.
