The Gamble House is the residence most strongly associated with the life and work of James Norris Gamble, a Westwood promoter who, in the course of his work with the family business the Procter & Gamble Company, developed Ivory Soap, a groun-breaking consumer product still in production today. For more than sixty years - from 1871 to 1932 - as James N. Gamble became an admired entrepreneur, industrialist, civic leader, and philanthropist - this is where he called home.

This is a sustainable mixed-use development concept that I design as an independent study while in the University of Cincinnati's DAAP Urban Planning program many years ago. I finally got a chance to render out animation footage. Sustainable features of the development include green roofs, solar arrays, wind turbines, geothermal HVAC, LED lighting, solar bus stop, stormwater cisterns for grey water re-use, structured parking and extensive building insulation.

This animation was created in 2012 showing three streetscape designs for a 16 km major corridor in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This 12 lane road is basically a 6 lane highway with a 3 lane service road on each side for shops and storefronts. Streetscape features include architectural shade structures, organized parking areas, public bus stops, various intensities of landscaping and also depicts an increased density versus development found along the corridor today.

This animation was created by Graeme Daley in 2007 during a co-op at SAEC Kinetic Vision while studying Urban Planning at the University of Cincinnati. This is what the interior of the Kenwood Towne Place project will look like once it's finally completed. This mixed-use development in Kenwood will contain retail, office space and a restaurant.

This animation was created in 2009 showing the Master Plan for this gas station renovation project, by Meisner + Associates / Land Vision. Thorough implementation of green / sustainable elements would have made this development literally "off the grid" creating its own energy and treating waste water on-site via a constructed wetland. This was designed to achieve LEED Platinum certification from the USGBC.

This concept plan for Procter & Gamble's world headquarters was designed and visualized in 2008 as an Urban Planning Independent Study while Graeme Daley attended the University of Cincinnati.

Procter & Gamble was used as the client for this future growth plan which would incorporate a number of complimentary amenities to the existing world headquarters of the Procter & Gamble Company.
