Great food and better drinks and bar service. Enjoyed the tortilla soup and cerviche. Laid back vibe and reasonably priced. Appetisers are good for a light lunch.

I wasn't a huge fan of interior Mexican food until I ate here. Amazing! A little pricey, but a great restaurant in a cool part of town.

El Naranjo has excellent, authentic Mexican Food. The owner/chef came out the first time we went there and explained how their chilis for their moles are one of a kind and are specially ordered from some little village in Oaxaca. Nothing tex-mex about this place. Located on Rainey St so plenty of options to go for a drink after dinner.

Fantastic margaritas and amazingly epic appetizers. Your best bet is to go for happy hour where appetizers and drinks are half off. The venue is a super swanking spot with really beautiful decor and an equally swanky food menu. That's a minor quibble I have as I feel Mexican food should not be an expensive food.

Went there in between rounds at other bars on Rainey street at the recommendation of a bartender. Was very pleased - the service was top notch - we weren't hurried along, and we took our time. We couldn't decide what to get since everything looked so good, but my cousin was recommended a couple of things by a guy he met in the bathroom, and we went for it along with a couple of server suggestions. Everything we had was incredible. The Moles were excellent, and the meats that were paired with them were fresh and deliciously cooked. Would definitely return.

This place is a Rainey Street culinary respite. Among the delightful dishes offered are several types of mole (who knew there were 50+ kinds of mole? - according to our very informative waiter). You can pick your mole preparation and your protein (or seasonal veggies). I highly recommend starting with the Queso Fundido. The plate presentations are in congruence with the carefully crafted and well thought out dishes. The cocktail menu might be a bit hit or miss. My friend's choice hinted of band-aid (as she aptly described the mid-palate taste) and I noticed it is no longer on their drink menu. I had better luck with the refreshing La Fresa: tequila, muddled strawberries, agave syrup and lime juice.
