I have to say I'm not on the fence with this one, but I'm definitely standing very close to it ready to jump. I agree with Cenk that a settlement is a settlement and just because the first one was a stupidly low settlement doesn't change that. The ONE point though that might help them..the judge decides if Spike performed his due diligence in the matter by simply deleting the tweet. Was that a reasonable reaction to reduce future harm to the couple, or should he have done more? Since most of these cases have big public apologies and the celebrity giving to all kinds of charities and such to fluff over the stuff...simply deleting the tweet may not have been enough in a judges' eyes. Depends also on court documents.
