Polished rooms & suites, some with river views, plus an indoor pool, upscale dining & meeting space.- Google
"Service was generally good, especially the bell staff."
"Parking prices are a bit ridiculous, but that comes with such a prime location."

This is a great hotel if you have grown allergic to your money. $200 for a room, $6 for a bottle of water, and even breakfast, which is normally free, costs $16 per person. Add on top of that the fact that I arrived at the specified 4pm check in time. It was after 5 before my room was ready. For the amount of money charged, I expect way better than that. I will seek other accommodations for my next visit to Savannah.

Most of everything was nice. Our room was clean and nice. We had a beautiful view of the river. My biggest problem was the elevator and lobby on river street. It all smelled like sulphur. Difficult to enjoy going out to eat when you have to walk through a cloud of farts to get there.

Rooms are very nice, modern decor. Bed is very comfortable. My room wasn't ready so I got "upgraded" to a balcony room. I couldn't actually go out on the balcony which was disappointing, but the view of the river was nice.

We only stopped in for drinks but had a great time on the balcony overlooking the river. The drinks were perfect and the service was great. Absolutely no complaints.

Great place, quiet, and Clean. The beds and sheets were very comfortable. The one down is that they DO NOT have parking. They will park your vehicle for $28 a night.

Hyatt Regency deserves zero stars. We left Sunday and I accidentally left some shirts hanging in the closet. I called Monday and the housekeeping manager said she would call back. She claims she did but we never received a missed call or voicemail. We called back today and I was sent me to the housekeeping managers voicemail twice and left two messages. Once I got a phone call from the hotel I said hello twice and they hung up so I called back and got sent to voicemail again. I described every shirt even the size and they said they only found my hangers. We had a privacy sign on the door so nobody would come in while we were gone. Which leads back to the lady who cleaned the room. When I asked to speak to a manager the guest services was rude and had a bad attitude. I had to be sent to the general managers phone. Of course they didn't answer so I left a voicemail and still no one has called me back. I am so upset because one of the shirts was my prom t shirt which had a lot of sentimental value to me so I hope housekeeping enjoys their new shirts even though the honest thing to do would have been to send it to lost and found. I understand that I should have checked the room completely but after realizing they were gone I thought they would be in lost and found which is what it was intended for. Moral of the story. Don't trust the staff at the Hyatt Regency. If they will take t shirts they will take anything.

So very impressed with this hotel! Our stay was wonderful. Nothing bad I could say at all. The location is perfect. Literally, the elevator takes you straight down to River Street.

Stayed at the Hyatt back in July, and had a terrible experience. I was very excited to be in such a prime location however, I quickly realized when the hotel shuttle driver honked at me at a red light outside of the hotel to go that I may have been in over my head. I found that the staff at the front desk wasn't nearly as friendly as they could have been. It was later so I will give them that. I found it very convenient for the hotel to offer 24 hour room service, but I didn't order because of the prices. The first room I was placed in was not at all what I had paid for seeing as I paid for King room with the river view, and I was placed in a handicapped room overlooking the lobby. Shortly after that situation was fixed we were placed in the room you get when you complain which is always nice. However, the following morning I woke up to my neighbors screaming out in pleasure about their morning "couple time." Wouldn't have normally bothered me except it was 6AM, and I had gotten in from a nine hour drive the night before at around 1AM. I also thought it was very sleazy of the hotel to require you to have a valet service. I understand space is limited in the city, but to have to pay someone else to drive my baby away and hear them dump the clutch is a little ridiculous. At checkout I expressed my complaints, while attempting to be discreet about my neighbors morning activities, I was abruptly handed a bill and told "thank you for staying with us." I would not recommend for anyone looking for a special experience, or trying to avoid being nickeled and dimed.
