Fun hiking today. Went out and explored the Pacific Crest Trail south of Mt McLoughlin. The mosquitoes were brutal. Fortunately I ran across some backpackers willing to lend me some deet. Will remember to pack some in the future.

This is really amazing. Every UX designer and typographer should take a look at this, and be ready to turn their worlds upside down. The example shown is perfect - it's a little too dense and hard to read in the original, even though it has serifs and other traditional ways to make blocks of text more readable. But the gradient-laden one was easier to read than the nice, open article text around it, despite being identical except for color.

If you have trouble focusing while reading, try this out.

Augh, that literally made me nauseous reading the sample. Adding more information to the process doesn't help me, it overwhelms me. :(

I can see why it would help someone who has more trouble with dyslexia and less trouble with over-stimulation, though. I like the idea of it being an accessibility option. I do NOT like the idea of it becoming the new default :(

If it can be done with milk, it can be done with half and half.
