12 authors, 2 years, 159 pages..."The Psychophysiology Primer: a guide to methods and a broad review with a focus on human-computer interaction" is finally here!

It is published by NOW, a subscription-based publisher, because the format required a specialist. However we are making the state of the art sections open access on arxiv preprint server. See one of the chapters, about electroencephalography, at the link.

Hurrah! The big one hits the bookshelves! A complete guide to using psychophysiology (in human-computer interactions), but served in nice digestable portions.
Not a handbook, but no mere journal, it's The Psychophysiology Primer!

I will now coin a neologism:
"Procrastinurge"

If I was contacted by anyone to say that they could not reproduce my work, I'd be delighted that it had even been read!

I had great supervisors, got great advice and had a good time. But it was a terribly weak environment to train a scientist - I hardly found any structured support for learning best practice in statistics, writing, experiment design...I once asked the coordinator of the 'generic skills' training courses if he could run a course on Latex. Nope...I ended up teaching myself.

TL,DR: your science is crap. So is mine, and most of the rest.
