This is Steve's wife. Steve died unexpectedly Wed, Aug 8, 2012 at our home at the age of 46..  His services will be Aug. 18, 10 a.m. at the Orland CA Firehouse.  I am placing his remains in his camera bag as I could think of little else that mean as much to him.  Thank you all who shared your passion and talents with him.  It truely made him happiest to share this with you.  It was his passion and his outlet from reality, his way of holding on to a perfect moment.  He talked highly of many of you and was thrilled when his work garnered interest in this forum.  I don't really understand any of these forums....just trying to tease out the bread crumbs he left me.  I leave you all with one request.....while I know you are happiest behind the camera, step in front of it a bit more often.  One day these pictures will be priceless to those who love you.  We have so few of Steve....he always held the camera.

This hawk did not like me being where I was and made quite a scene.

While photographing the Agony ride these students happened to be chearing for riders in a cool natural light spot.  I took this while some rather harsh light was breaking into some rays as it filtered through the trees.

Single photo process in +Nik Software  HDR Eflex Pro 2 from +Adobe Photoshop Lightroom mellowed the light and brought back some color.

+Steve Boyko I took this near the end of the first 13 mile leg so they were all still smiling.  There were less smiles by the end of the 24 hour ride, but the young lady in the front was still all smiles.

Introduction
I grew up in a small town where addresses did not matter, because you knew everyone.  Life is no longer simple.  You can get overlooked if you are not racing along with everyone else.  I want to help people keep up.  I like using the internet and social media.  I am also an photographer.  I shoot photography for fun and for my business.  Have fun and enjoy what you do, other people will follow you.
Bragging rights
I have been a paratrooper, paramedic, firefighter, deputy sheriff and now I'm semi-retired. Running a restaurant with my lovely wife!
