I added a dungeon generator that I did recently to the #geneticalgorithm code. In each dungeon a couple of moving obstacles get added.

In the video : Red dudes spawn and try to move to a invisible destination. They move a number of steps into a random direction. The closest red dude gets his path copied into the new wave of red dudes. A little bit of mutation(changes in directions in path) get done and a couple of new steps with directions gets added.

When one dude reaches the end point the program replays at regular speed how he travels through the dungeon without getting killed.

Based on the Code Bullet example. This is a #geneticalgorithm thing. The red people try to find their way through 3 levels with obstacles. There are a few hundred red dots that keep walking into a random direction. The best one(closest) is a example for the new batch.

Made a couple of new tracks. A couple of songs from the medley are based on old Amiga Games. Arabian Nights and The Settlers.

The game creators released a #ios version of their programming tool #appgamekit I installed it on my ipad and started learning how to use it.

I had not programmed in #agk before. I started creating a #tutorial for it. It is a #pdf which currently has 24 pages. It has simple example code for single commands and more complete short examples showing various coding techniques like #floodfill #pathfinding

Jungle Ide now free and Flash Target
