The poor review was clearly written by a child who was resentful for being sent to SandHill. Our son was there and we spent a lot of time on site. I am an educator and was very careful about the placement we selected. Our son had a lot of support and the theoretical basis for their methods of therapy are sound and well proven. Yes, some children are put in holds, but that is to help them to stay safe until they can regulate their own bodies. It's a horrible situation to require a facility like SandHIll - but they know how to do their job and our son is a better person because of the work he did while he was there.
