Dr. Mitchell Bard's latest on the Huffington Post:
The rain of rockets from Gaza has only stiffened the resistance of the Israeli public and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to territorial compromise on the West Bank. And, one rocket, in particular, may have killed the two-state solution altogether....

Some people like Jimmy Carter have said the recent reconciliation agreement between Hamas and Fatah improves the chances for peace between Israel and the Palestinians. Our latest Myths and Facts video, narrated by Mad Men's Stephen Mendel, would beg to differ:

Although Yom Ha'azmaut was marked last week, May 14th in the secular calendar is the day that the British Mandate expired and David Ben-Gurion officially signed the document declaring the State of Israel's independence. 66 years later, Israel is still going strong.

AICE's latest Myths and Facts video covers the history of Mizrahi Jews living under Muslim rule. Some people claim everything was fine, but the facts say something quite different. Narrated by Stephen Mendel of "Mad Men" fame.

AICE hopes that everyone had a fantastic Passover. We are now five days into the Counting of the Omer: the countdown between the second night of Passover and Shavu'ot. This is to remind us of the link between Passover, which commemorates the Exodus, and Shavu'ot, which commemorates the giving of the Torah. We are reminded that redemption from slavery was not complete until then.

Today is the seventieth anniversary of D-Day, when the Allied forces landed at Normandy, France with the intention of liberating Europe from the Axis powers. The memory of the soldiers who fought and died for freedom lives on today.

The United Nations General Assembly should ask it's members to adopt a resolution that would encourage people all over the world to fly the Flag of the United Nations. If everybody flew the Flag of the United Nations, it would show that we are sick and tired of the violence against our sisters and brothers. This is a time for the whole world to come together. Please share this proposal with other people. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to send this message.

Dr. Mitchell Bard's latest article in the Huffington Post is now live:
For the last several years the Jewish community has wasted thousands of hours in a sterile debate regarding the "big tent," and the criteria for deciding who should be inside or outside....
