this used to be the place for creative mexican fusion. she should have closed the doors long ago...everything has gone down hill. maybe that's why the restaurant has been for sale.

complaining about lorraine's is like shooting fish in a barrel. it's so hit-or-miss. it can be delicious, rarely, or awful, tasteless and with the worst service in history. take yer chances.

I have to admit that I'm a little torn between my self-serving desire ("great! don't come to Lorraine's! screw you! more enchiladas for me!") and my need to set the record, er, straight. So be it -- straight it is. Lorraine's is excellent. The food is amazing, the margaritas will make you tip over in your chair (with delight, among other reasons) and I heart the staff. We have been going for years, and I dream about it all winter. If I could move to P-Town, I'd stalk this place. I hope several of you take other reviewers' (with foul unrefined palates) advice to go to the Lobster Pot so I don't have to wait a moment for my fantastic experience here to begin. But if I have to, I'll wait.
