In the workshop of a private enclave several kilometers away from the Jedi Temple
He looks at his creation and smiles. Dak had been working on his new project for several weeks and he was finally finished. The perfect droid. His new personal assistant. He pulls up a chair and sits, using the force to retrieve his data pad. Ok. He thinks to himself, Let's fire this baby up. Computer, activate. There's a brief moment of silence and the eyes of the droid come to life. Acknowledged the droid responds. He had done it. Dak had collected several spare droid parts and slowly begin to build his own droid. The body was from an old BX Battle droid. It had been dismantled by a Jedi and only the torso, the arms to its wrist and the legs to its knees had remained in usable condition. The head was still intact as well and it seemed only right to keep the head anyway. The rest of the droid was made up of legs from an old MA protocol droid and the hands from a dismantled HK droid. It was truly a site and he hoped it would live up to his expectations. What is your designation? he asks the droid. Acknowledged the droid pauses, I do not have a designation the droid responds. He punches a few things on his data pad. Your designation is TK-5190 he tells the droid. There's a brief pause, Acknowledged Hello Master Winree. I am TK-5190, how may I be of service? The droids programming was starting to boot up and Dak figured he test it to make sure it was working. What is your primary objective? he responds. The droid hesitates, Acknowledged, my primary objective is to protect Master Winree at all cost TK responds. Dak plugs in a few more things to his data pad. What is your secondary protocol? he ask. Acknowledged, secondary protocol. To serve as an astromech, protocol droid, and bodyguard to my owner. That would be you Master Winree. Is that correct? His programming was already functioning as Dak had anticipated it would. The emotion algorithm he added within TK's programming was designed to make the droid more human and less robot. It gave TK a "conscious" so to speak. Dak was hoping it would help TK to think more like a human. Use less logic and more instinct. Combined with other programming, he had created the ultimate assistant and future comrade in arms. Indeed it was TK. That will be all for now. Computer, deactivate. The droid begins to shut down as a makes a few more notes in his data pad. He turns down the lights and heads into the study to meditate. Till the morning my friend. He pats TK on the shoulder and leaves the room.
