I'll start off positively: our server was very attentive and sweet. If you hate Negative Nancy, don't read any further because unfortunately, I don't have much good to say about the food. Our waitress recommended drinks so I picked the Mango Mojito. Call me silly, I know, who the eff orders a Mango Mojito? Me. That's who. And I regretted it dearly. What is the point of overpowering a lovely fresh minty drink with mango? I don't know. I thought it would be really cleverly infused into the drink, but alas, life isn't always easy, We ordered the steamed mussels to start. Now, they give you a heap of mussels, unfortunately, they taste old and you don't care to finish the plate. You kind of expect fresh seafood from a seafood joint like Chart House that is right by the ocean (amazing views but blinding at sunset). The mussels were definitely frozen stuff you could pick up at Costco. For our main dish, we both went for the Seared Chilean Sea Bass. Our waitress recommended it as a "favorite" and who would turn down bass topped off with lobster AND crab and drizzled with a lemon shallot butter? PLUS saffron risotto. But, like our starter, the seafood tasted old, dry, and packaged. Now, if the meal had been, say, $20, I'd say sure, go for it. 3.5 stars. But this meal ended up costing $140 and we were both incredibly unsatisfied. I should have trusted the Yelp reviews eh?

Cyndi Jones is where its at! If you want an amazing cut and style, look her up! She did my hair for my homecoming and guess who looked damn cute? ME. If you want great quality work done by someone who cares, make sure you stop by Salon Bruce Stuart and get your hair did. (And ask for Cyndi...)
