Don't waste your money on this tour. We went on the 4pm tour on 22nd March, a Saturday. The tour is supposed to be 75 minutes but we were told by the tour guide that in order to avoid the traffic, the schedule is changed and in the end, the tour is just for an hour. What traffic? On a Saturday at 5pm? It is not a weekday. If a 4pm tour has to avoid any traffic, then the cost should be adjusted. As far as the content of the tour is concerned, what content? I can't say I have learn't anything at all from the tour. No mention at all of the The Congress Avenue Bridge Bats when we are so near and can see the bridge. Not to say we didn't get to cross the bridge on the tour. I want my money back.

It's a cheesy, touristy Austin gimmick but worth doing once! They give you pretty annoying but fun 'duck' whistles to blow at unsuspecting Austinites and at one point the bus is transformed into a boat and we drove straight into the water. The driver gave us a lot of great historical Austin info that we didn't know, and overall it was a fun day!

I would have given it a lower score, but most of our group said they enjoyed it. I would have liked the guide to be more knowledgeable about the area. He seemed to be winging it and I we passed a lot of historical sites that he made no mention of. Also, they could help eleviate the heat (it was a very hot day) by installing several fans along the roof on both sides. It wouldn't be hard to do.

My wife and I had a blast on this tour! Our tour guide was Bob (who we found out was from Michigan where my wife and I are from) and he was great! Very informative and very funny. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Austin.

The duck is actually ridiculous. Why do people do this?
