I love there service with our needs. The rooms were well cleaned and have a bay view for us. We lived over there for 3 days and loved each day with there service. The receptionist was too good. the hotel over all is very cool. The only parking is they charge 35+taxes for parking that starts from 4pm -4pm next day. But they have solution for it too, right in front they have 2$/hr parking and from 2am-7am its free. We have been traveling around the city most of the time so preferred the 2$ parking.

Will definitely be coming back to stay. Everything was great. Was valet parking to check in. The room was sufficient. All it needed was a fridge without anything you had to pay for and a microwave. Love it though and its right by the water and across the bridge from South Beach

I did not stay overnight but the rooms and scenery were absolutely beautiful. Such an iconic building driving towards the beach. I would love to spend nights there

My stay at Intercontinental Miami started on August 6, 2016- August 7, 2016. For a girls trip to celebrate my birthday with friends, which also happens to fall on August 6th. We all traveled from Orlando, Florida to celebrate. I booked a suite to accommodate 4 people and additional room to accommodate 2 more individuals. We were to all have club lounge access as well. I had requested a early check-in for each room; however the hotel was fully occupied the previous evening. Therefore, even though we arrived at 11:00am we were unable to check-in to our room until approximately 3:45pm. However, we were permitted to wait in the Club Lounge and we were serviced by a representative by the name of Flora. She provided exceptional customer service under the circumstances by providing us snacks and beverages while we waited. She also went above and beyond by trying to see if there was a room we could check-in to earlier. One of us also left a cup in the lobby and she not only verified that it was downstairs but went and retrieved it for us. Due to the fact that it was my birthday and provided us a complimentary bottle of champagne. We were feeling so much better about our experience thus far after waiting a couple of hours to check-in. Upon checking into our suite the toilet didn't flush (chain was broken), imagine if you waited to check-in for hours and waited to use the restroom. (Not Cool at all). Then the minibar was broken and there were also not adequate towels to accommodate us. Then three of us chose to enjoy the Club Lounge around 6pm for appetizers and drinks. Upon scanning my card for entry into the lounge. I was immediately asked what my room number was with an introduction or hello from the hotel worker by the name of Kelly. Approximately a minute later she asked another member of my party what there room number was. Then 5 minutes later came and told me that only two person per suite we allowed to entry the lounge and the 3rd person would be charged $39.99. I then stated that I would discuss this matter with a manager by name of David that I had spoken to earlier - regarding the second room request that was not given Club access, which he assured me was given the access and he personally put in the request. As we sat to eat, drink, and enjoy the views Kelly proceeded to accommodate all guest that entered and/or were already within the lounge. By asking if they needed anything / pouring and serving drinks/ and clearing their plates. We observed this for about 30 minutes without her once asking us if we needed anything or offering us the same service she was providing to others. I would also like to point out they were a group of minorities and everyone else in the room appeared to be of caucasian descent. I have never been treated so badly by an establishment and after observing this behavior asked to speak to a manager who took 30 minutes to comply to the request. When initially speaking to Daniel the manager, he defended her behavior by stating that she has received great reviews from other guests. I stated I could see why, because we observed her providing great customer service to others, just not our group. Then told me he would look into the situation, but insulted us by giving us breakfast vouchers to a restaurant downstairs versus enjoying the Club Lounge Access. I was told by Daniel that he would be in the office at 7am the next morning and would follow-up with me by 10am. This did not happen, as I went to the Club Lounge the next morning, because I was not going to let anyone make me feel that I should not be accepted anywhere. Kelly again did not greet me or even acknowledge my presence. However, Flora did and also asked how my birthday went. Flora also followed-up to see if Daniel would be able to speak with me. I was told that he would not be available until 2pm. Because he was the only manager on staff at the time. I was not given any resolution only an apology.

Superb staff who are very friendly and helpful. A huge and beautiful hotel with lots of amenities. The rooms are spacious and clean. Views from the suites and executive lounge are spectacular. Executive lounge offers free soft and alcoholic drinks and a wide variety of food for free (provided this is included in your room rate). Car hire is available on site and taxis are abundant outside. Many shops, bars and restaurants are only a short walk away. The cruise terminals are a very short taxi ride away.

A little fun fact about our housekeepers: They're also semi-professional pillow fort builders! A guest used our "Text Us" program to request a pillow fort, and we made it happen! This service is available 24/7 to all guests staying at the hotel. Ask and you shall receive!
