14. Plan your next day at 5 P.M.

Stop whatever you are doing at 5 P.M.
Take out an index card.
On the front, write down the 3 Most Important Things (MITs) that you want to accomplish tomorrow. Have your yearly & weekly goals in front of you for quick reference when you do this. 
On the back of the index cards, write down any other assorted things you would like to get to once your 3 MITs are out of the way.

Wake up early tomorrow. Don’t check email. Start on item #1 on your index card and don’t move to #2 until you are through with #1. Reward yourself with small recharge breaks as needed. 

It sounds simple, but it is a big lever.

If you got nothing done but those three MITs every day, you will have done more than 1,000 very important things for moving your life forward within the year.
