We ate here before a show at the Fire. We got beef and chicken tacos to share. It was pretty standard fare, but I wasn't blown away by anything given the price. Although, I will say, that our server was awesome. Very friendly and attentive.

i wish the guitarista would have stayed for dessert. las cazuelas knows how to have a good time. the food and service were terrific and the entertainment made for a perfect group evening out.

Highly overrated - Not recommended - We were charged $1.00 for hot sauce! at a Mexican restaurant, really? Every Mexican restaurant I have been to offers hot sauce for free. In fact, you see a couple of bottles on the table near the salt shaker.. Free! There were other miscellaneous additions to the total bill and things just didn't add up to the total which was printed. The check was poorly printed so we couldn't see the charges. The food was OK. They certainly try to compensate for poor taste by good presentation (pyramids of rice, circles of salads, cilantro flakes...). Bottom line: for a better price, you can get better food in the city. Oh and if you bring in travel discount vouchers, you get poor service, less food and get charged more.

Best Mexican food in Jennings County. Much better food and service than Las Chalupas.

Absolutely Horrendous. I do not know where to begin. As soon as we walked in we were not greeted, and we stood by the front door waiting for 15 minutes while the waitresses would walk by and say "I'm sorry, be right with you", which they did 5 times, even though there were empty tables? Finally I had to ask if she could please seat us now as we have been standing for 15 minutes( but this point there was a pile up leading out of the restaurant). So we were seated, and waited another 10 minutes before she took our order. By this point we realized we should order everything at once seeing how poorly run this establishment was. Ordered the guacamole, two entrees, and had to explicitly ask for waters and silverware. She brings the guacamole, with no chips and forgets the waters and silverware. She quickly returns with a half basket of stale chips and said she forgot the silverware and water again. By the time we finish the chips and guacamole(which were below average) our entrees arrive, however we still do not have silverware or drinks, and the waitress informs us that the dishwasher is slow, so it is not her fault that we still do not have silverware or glasses of water. So we are literally sitting there with our meals and nothing to eat them with. We finally receive our utensils and drinks and of course the meals are well below average for $17 a plate. Absolutely terrible DO NOT GO, STAY AWAY.

Mi gusta the inexpensive, tasty Mexican fare at this small, but authentic-looking Meixcan on Girard Ave. It's BYO so bring a bottle of tequilla and let them mix you a pitcher of margs, and enjoy the low prices and fresh food.
