I've kept this off of Google+, because I tried to deal with +United Airlines over on Twitter. But damn, having 700,000 lifetime miles, along with two VIP travelers who run a PR firm, and a social media loudmouth with millions of followers still isn't enough to get United to take care of a customer and a friend. https://www.facebook.com/RobertScoble/posts/10152617677939655 Sorry, you gotta be on Facebook to see the sordid tale.

I won't fly United if I have a choice. What did that cost them? Well, let's see, my son flies from NYC to SFO every few months. Ayelet and Motti fly from Israel to US every few weeks. I fly around the world.

All pissed off because of rules. For a flight that won't happen until January.

Proves that even being a VIP customer (I have 1K status right now) and having millions of followers doesn't matter: United doesn't care. What's amazing is that even the investors aren't winning here: http://www.marketwatch.com/investing/stock/ual

Turns out that pissing off customers is bad for business. Which is why I try not to do it in my job. Sometimes I fail, but I remember that everytime I do fail it hurts everyone involved.

A little on the pricey side but the food is very good. They also source as much food as they can locally.

When we walked in we were not greeted. The guy that finally walked up to us said "sit here". He had long nails and wasn't at all happy. He took our drink orders and just walked away. He came back with the drinks, and the water for my pregnant sister had stuff floating in it. I said "there's something floating in the water", he said "like what", with an attitude. I said I didn't know. He grabbed the glass and walked away. We had enough by that point and walked across the shopping strip to look at the other restaurants in the area. We didn't see anything else that we liked, so we walked back to the car. The rude waiter was outside the restaurant looking for us. He asked "what was the problem", and we told him the service. He asked back "what service", my brother-in-law and I both said at same time, "exactly". That's when things went from bad to worse. He started yelling phrases such as: You're ass holes. Go back back to where you came from. What do you think this is, the Four Seasons downtown? We were seriously scared for our safety. We got in the car and left in a hurry. DO NOT SPEND MONEY AT THIS PLACE. Four Seasons gives Austin a bad name.
