16 WAPT’s award winning weather team is even stronger today, adding meteorologist Brittany Bell as the station’s weekend evening weather expert.
Bell, a Mississippi State alum who graduated in three years with a 4.0 GPA, joins 16 WAPT from sister stations KHBS/ KHOG in Ft. Smith/Rogers, Ark.
"Weather has always been my passion, and I'm so fortunate that I have the opportunity to do what I love surrounded by my family and friends," Brittany said.
Brittany grew up in Memphis before heading to Starkville and MSU. Her full time work in Northwest Arkansas was invaluable.
“While working there I gained experience covering almost everything mother nature had to offer; including tornadoes, flooding, snow, and droughts. I'm exciting to take on the challenge of working in another severe weather market," Brittany said.
