A MESSAGE FROM EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR - Paula Prendergast

4 Star Charity Navigator
I am very proud to share that for the third year in a row, we have received a 4-star rating for sound fiscal management and commitment to accountability and transparency from Charity Navigator.  Charity Navigator is America's premier independent charity evaluator. They help charitable givers make intelligent giving decisions by providing in-depth, objective ratings and analysis of the financial health and ethics of America's largest charities.  Only 12% of the charities they rate have received a 4-star rating for three years in a row. This exceptional designation from Charity Navigator differentiates us from our peers and demonstrates to the public they we are worthy of their trust and hard-earned dollars. As the nonprofit sector continues to grow at an unprecedented pace, this rating is especially important in helping us fulfill our mission.

I want to encourage everyone to take advantage and participate in CCFA’s Freee Webinars. Our next one is Advances in IBD: An Update for Patients.  It will provide an overview of the most important clinical research discussions from the CCFA Advances in IBD 2013 conference including: the uses of diagnostic tests, surgery for IBD, progress in the area of genetics and the microbiome, as well as a look at the future of IBD care. Participants will hear from a leading expert in the field of IBD research, and have the opportunity to ask questions.  We are fortunate to have our FL Chapter Board of Trustee member, Dr. Maria Abreu be the first expert to start off this series.  Save the date and register for this webinar at:
