Gmail is rolling out a new version this week. If you’re like me, you’ll be growling at the computer, saying “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, Google people!”

But the new version will have lots of very useful new features. Like being able to unsend that email you just sent to The Paris Review without noticing that you misspelled your own name and called your story “sh*t” instead of “short.”

This stuff could be very useful indeed. And who else but Nate Hoffelder, the Digital Reader himself, to explain it all to us?
