3D tech on a big scale

This brick-laying #robot can build a full-sized house in two days
As robots get smarter, cheaper and more versatile, they're taking on more challenges – including bricklaying. Engineers in Australia have created a fully working house-builder that can create the brick framework of a property in just two days, working about 20 times faster than a human bricklayer.

Now this looks like a fun project

The 60's and 70's were the golden age of electronic kit building. The novice had a great many educational kits to choose from that taught basic skill...

Wow heart breaking, Rocket Science is easy, said no one,,, ever. But they also say that if you never fail you are not innovating. And Elon Musk is an innovator. That is how he got to where he is.

I need to graph a data set.  So how do I span all the values against the Maximum value in the data set to plot them in a given screen area?
My scaleValue is almost alway Zero

scaleValue = (value / span) x (span / maxValue)
Where span is the height or width of an LCD in pixels.

DOH!!!  I figured it out LOL
n_new = (n_old x Span + half of max)/ max);

Seems to work well.

Canadian immigration is not just a simple matter of packing up and driving over the border. They have a points-based system to select skilled immigrants, and the majority of Americans in the middle and lower income tiers will not make the grade.

This will help to tame the spastic dice roller in your gaming group.  Every group has one so every group needs this.

A new dice tray I made this week. Made from Zebra Wood with a black super softy pig leather in the bottom. The lid attaches with magnets and attaches again underneath for when it is being used. Use the lip around the edge to hold dice you are not currently using when playing and then when done put all your dice inside and put the lid on for storage.

This one is a 10" version, I also make them in 8" and 6" with and without lids and in a variety of woods. The lids can also be custom engraved or with one of the cool stock images I have.

What really annoys me is when people don't have time to read my (as simple as possible, but no simpler) emails because they're stuck in meetings all day!

Everyone learns from setbacks and moves forward.

We are disappointed in the loss of the latest SpaceX cargo resupply mission to the International Space Station. However, the astronauts are safe aboard the station and have sufficient supplies for the next several months... This is a reminder that spaceflight is an incredible challenge, but we learn from each success and each setback." Full statement: http://go.nasa.gov/1fYPx44
