Bro do you even read?
I keep terrible hours. Now that it's pushing 6 AM and I'd like to be getting some shut eye. Unfortunately, one last check of my email has me awake and fairly alert. My junk file inbox is usually filled with crap I never need,...

Actually Sexy is the New Sexy. With that said, I'm finally in school; have been for two months. I could go into every minute detail about it or I can just say that I'm happy to be finally working toward another goal. I'll go ...

I decided to share what my word association exercise yielded. Nothing that screams novel, but at least I was able to get out something.
Like I promised, I'd post later about my word associations exercise to see if I could break my writer's block.  I don't think it worked, but then, I haven't looked at my novel since about noon today. Some of these seem kind...

I love this. There's only a few of these I don't recognize but I swear every single one of them is buckets of fabulous.

Plagiarism is still alive today. Alison Gilmore is making other writers look bad. This clown  decided to pass off Cat Johnson's Lorelei James's 2009 novel All Jacked Up as her own by posting it chapter by chapter on her website.

The website is down now but something still needs to be done to send a message that she can't get a way with it.

My latest excuse to not write.
For months I've been avoiding my true talent, which is writing, in pursuit of more instant gratification. Retail. Yes, I said that, retail. I'm not talking retail therapy, though that has happened on occasion, I'm talking abo...

I have no excuse of neglecting my blog (again), but with a little encouragement from of all people my American Lit Teacher, I've decided to return to it for the time being. This is of course due the the Flash Fiction book ...

Having writer's block for three days is a killer. I've decided to try a few examples of prewriting and see what happens.
Today is day three of my writer's block. I'm not surprised that this has happened since I've been working most of the month to finish my novel. But today as I sit at my computer wondering wiht inspiration will hit I decided t...

The wonder of not having cable. I stumbled on a clip from a show I've never heard of and fell in like.

Story
Tagline
I use my imagination a lot. I'm imagining you right now.
Introduction
Student at the moment. I'm working on two books that I affectionately call Gormance (Sci-Fi/ Fantasy/Romance). I'm also putting out some short stories as well.

I'm hoping to turn my favorite hobby into something worth while and meet a lot of great people at the same time.

I also delve into book reviews once in a great while. Ask me what I'm reading and I'll let you know how it was.
Bragging rights
I make a really decent meat loaf.

Holy Crap I went there for the first time today and lost my ever lovin' mind. Obviously you are going to luck out once in a while because the inventory is always going to be different but I really don't see how. I got 3.5 yards of gold-ish shantung for 1.50 a yard yowsah.

My friend and I went kayaking with OEX for New Year's (yeah I'm a month late). Had a blast. A sea lion popped out of nowhere and freaked us out. For a city girl like me that was a little too up close and personal and I loved every minute of it. The price wasn't bad either.

My I found Bacon Chocolate there. I was pretty shocked to see that. But they also had Saffron there and at least 7 kinds of curry powder. It is in a nice neighborhood and the parking is pretty good. I love the furniture it sell and plenty of beautiful home accents. I can't wait to go back and pick up my reading chair.
