Good point to raise volunteerism as something young Ghanaians should explore. I don't feel we are doing much of it. Though such actions could land someone a job or get such persons admission prospects in schools which put premium on volunteer hours, I still feel the best volunteerism are the ones done by people who expect nothing in return. Or maybe true altruism just doesn't exist?
Research who has shown that those who volunteer live longer. Volunteering is important because it is a low barrier entry into leadership and shows a great demonstration of what people can do. It also puts smiles on the faces ...

Thanks PG! I love this piece. Maybe we should debate it sometime. I am not sure it applies to all parties. I agree with you on the FOCUS bit.....but all in all, I still believe as human's our want for one thing or the other diminishes over time. Not matter how much spices you want to add. Let me ask, do you still use the mobile device you used some 2 years ago? No? Why not?
Hey! HEEYY!!!! I am talking to you! Why are you so distracted? Why can’t you just focus on what you have and make it work? You are distracted by the people in your phone and your social media circles, you are distracted by yo...

I was just going to mention the Christ Embassy Yookos as one platform I found out about when we interviewed the winners of the Tecno competition at the head office. Well, personally, I don't feel 'better' user experience is a differentiation. Giving more of something which already exists doesn't typically make you unique. I was hoping LoveRealm would offer a killer punch which would perhaps get me to embrace church a bit more :)
Imagine a connected world, a world in which you could walk up to your pastor and share all your problems without physically meeting him. Imagine a world where you could literally make new Christian friends and this in a matter of seconds. StatusUpdate. Well, this vision is not far fetched; ...

The greater differentiation lies in the fact that the LoveRealm network, aside Connecting Christians also allows people to accept Christ after reading touching stories. These people are then discipled and connected to local churches in their area. No one offers that.

Cute! Do they offer grooming services for men as well? Or it's just an 'all women' affair?
With all the stress we go through daily in Accra, it is quite easy to find oneself breaking down after a hectic week, having a haven to relax and release our stress has become utmost important in this current trend of staying...

Nice to know. I remember some Telecoms in Ghana, launched a similar initiative in Ghana through the  Zero Facebook project. I am not sure where it's now. What interests me though is the wide use of the local dialects in Eastern Africa, whiles it's very difficult for us to do so in Ghana. I hardly come across mobile users who can speak and write Akan as fluently as they can speak and write English. Is it because we are pushing English more?

We are just so stupid, I wont be surprised if it's not just that particular base but all others!! We have no shame as a nation to see our security officials being trained this way.
