You, came here for the cliffs so you need to see the burren. The unique landscape makes for nice photo opportunities. Rocky and desolate it has a beauty all its own so its worth the time for the trip.

A subtle and stark landscape which I love. If you go anywhere near, you must stop and soak it up.

A must see in Ireland! Such a lovely place to stumble upon and embrace. You're able to get off and walk around, touch and feel all of the stone (watch for animal droppings). You are sure to be amazed. Absolutely beautiful!

Just stopped here for a couple of minutes on the way to Galway. Everyone experiences it different but I was absolutely amazed by it! Huge, open and pure. Wished to have stayed longer and craving to go back already! I am from the Netherlands but I am sure that I am going to come back and spend more time at that stunning piece of landscape!! Go visit it!

We drove through the Burren along our drive from Galway to Killarney and found it to be a great way to spend a morning drive. We just wandered along and stopped off at places that looked interesting to us, which meant we got to take in some beautiful sites and peak into history that went as far back as the Stone Age (very cool)! I recommend bringing along a site-seeing map and possible a guidebook to further understand what some of the sites are if you're not on a guided tour, but this is a fantastic way to spend a drive!
