Take a look at how our latest event, Sturminster Newton Carnival went!

Today's the day! We're off to the 31st annual Kingsbridge Camp! The Quarterjacks will be staying in Bigbury on Sea for the weekend. There'll be campfires, eggy bread, sun (fingers crossed!), games, the Kingsbridge Carnival, two days out and about and plenty more!

Youth in Music is this Saturday! Willow Walk (next to Waitrose), Wimborne, 10am to 5pm.
There will be music, entertainment, games, a free bouncy castle, more music, refreshments and more music!
Check out the website: www.youthinmusic.co.uk or the Facebook Page: www.facebook.com/youthinmusic to find out more about the event, dedicated to showing what the youth of today can do with a bit of music!

It is with great sadness that we say good bye to Steve Plant, former Assistant Bandmaster, who passed away on 20th March 2012.
Steve was a Quarterjack for many years, having been with the band since it was the East Dorset Scout Band. All four of Steve's sons and his wife have been a big part of the band. He truly was one of the nicest people you could meet. If you ask any of the band members how they remember Steve, they would tell you of the times around the camp fire at Kingsbridge, or being taught bugle for the first time. Steve has been a big part of many of the Quarterjacks banding life and will not be forgotten.
Our thoughts are with Steve's family at this time.
