I've not really had this problem a great deal with my kids, but I'm sure it's luck rather than good parenting. When it does raise it's head on the odd occasion I use my stock phrase "there's no sulking in boardgaming" - which tends to work ok.
Of course if its me that's losing I flip the table and stomp off to my room.

I like ticket to ride a great deal, although prefer the europe version. I tend to keep to the US map when playing with the kids however.
On another note, is there any way of making your blog comments less Google+ centric? I obviously don't object to it being an option, but much prefer leaving comments with my email and blog address than an a login on a social network that I never use.
