My experience really was not so bad at all. The clerk was friendly, the room was clean, and the bed was relatively comfortable. The room contained a microwave, fridge, hairdryer, a somewhat-working TV, and a bathroom fan that sounded like a B-52 bomber. My only real concerns were the skid-row location of the motel, but supposedly they have a security guard at night. The hotel taxes brought the price way up, but I would stay there again if necessary.

Great price. Offers two queen beds with lots of room, micro, mini-fridge. Great pool/jacuzzi, basketball courts & awesome breakfast. Free airport shuttle. Excellent staff; first room had mold. Immediately moved us to another with apologies.

It's ok, good for the money if you pay weekly or monthly rate. needs to be updated and remodeled. The walls are thin so you can hear everyone. Area is bad (closed down business, drugs and lots of homeless) the good is... the free food, small bar, the tv with lots of channels, Wi-Fi when it works 90% of the time)

there is rust on all of the rooms and mold on the shower, this is so gross!! I will never stay here again, Angelica is the rudest customer service agent ever. They leave you on the phone for 20 - 30 minutes when you want to talk to the manager?

I recently stayed at this hotel for the park and fly rate, and my car was vandalized with over $7000 worth of damages while I was in Georgia. I parked in a back lot which had a broken gate, which was open to pedestrian traffic along the American River. Once I returned from GA and recorded the damages, the staff was very pleasant and offered to assist in any way possible. We took pictures of the damages, and they helped with the police report. I contacted my insurance company, and the hotel said they would take care of things. Here is where the problems started. I was passed from corporate to the owned, Peter Bheda, then back to the hotel, then to various insurance companies and paralegals. Two months later, after haggling with everyone in the company, I was told they were not responsible for any damages. There are signs posted that claim no responsibility for theft of vandalism, but profiting from customers parking cars without any accountability is just wrong. Why was I told one thing and then received the exact opposite response? All I asked for was the $1000 deductible to be sent to Peterson's Collision, but instead I was told in a rude manor that this was against company policy. Since when is doing the right thing wrong? In the corporate world where profits rule above people or decency.

Where do I even start about this place? The 1st room given to us smelled like dog urine and had old urine stains on the floor and the sofa (the cushion was flipped over to hide urine stains . We complained and then they gave us a 2nd room which smelled like urine, the phone in the room did not work. Had to use my own cell phone to call the front desk. Again they apologized and gave us a 3rd room. This room was okay and clean, but the hallway smells like mold and perhaps skunk? and the carpets although cleaner, I wasn't confident walking on. The internet doesn't work here 50% of the time! The bathtub had stains and I used a towel to step on in the shower. I will never come back to this place! If I could leave no stars, I would. It's a health hazard!

My wife and I needed a hotel for the weekend to enjoy comic con so we chose this location due to some special rates they had going for the event. I only noticed the negative reviews after we had booked the rooms so I was a little worried. I was glad to find my fears were unfounded, however. The hotel is actually quite lovely. The location is great since it is just a mile or so from City Center, plus there is a McDonalds and a Dennys right next to the complex. Amenities were better than most, with access to free wifi and a breakfast buffet that included eggs, potatoes, sausage and the normal cold cereal choices, fruit, breads and bagels. And a self-service waffle bar too. There is a pool and hot tub on site, but we didn't use it. They had a shuttle to take us to and from the convention and was always very prompt. The rooms were large and clean. It had a table with a couple chairs, a counter with mini fridge and microwave use, and TV with tons of channels. The beds and pillows were super comfortable too My only issue was that my room phones didn't work, but I didn't use them at all so I didn't care much. Oh, I forgot to tell them when we checked out... Anyways, it was a fantastic hotel and it was certainly worth he price of admissions. I would ignore the other, more sensationalized reviews and check i out for yourself. I know where I'll be once Wizards World comes back!
