I'm happy to announce that through the work of Javier Albinarrate (LU8AJA), the Radio Club Argentino (https://www.lu4aa.org/wp/) is now offering a version of proppy tailored to its members. The new site is online at https://www.lu4aa.org/wp/prop/. The site looks very good and is well worth a look.

(Javier's work has shamed me into getting around to providing a colorbar for the area plots in Proppy and a prototype is currently being worked on with a view to uploading the changes in the coming days.)

As cycle 24 starts to wind down, we're starting to see almost daily predictions for cycle 25 and beyond. This article from last years Nature magazine proposes a promising model composed of a pair of dynamos. After training the model on observations from cycles 21-23 onwards, the researchers extrapolated back in time and have achieved (in their words) 'spectacular' accuracy matching historical data. This is given them the confidence to extrapolate forward to cycles 25 and 26. Very interesting and readable article. (Apologies to anyone that's already picked up on this)

I'm working on adding a summary of space weather to proppy which may be of interest to users preparing predictions for immediate use. The page is not linked to the main site yet as it's still a trial effort, the direct link is https://soundbytes.asia/proppy/spaceweather. Proppy's main focus is on prediction so I'll be adding a few links to external resources that may be of interest.
