There’s more than one way to skin a cat
There could be a thousand, imagine that!
Let’s start with the one in the red stripey hat,
The maybe we’ll find more, rat a tat tat.

Introduction
Woof Woofsson is an unknown writer with few distinguishing features, other than an inexplicable longing to chase cars. His work has appeared on paper in a wide selection of bins and in dark, lonely corners of the internet. Which is generally agreed to be a Good Thing because it is usually far too silly, serious or both.

We rang for a home delivery at 6.30 They very kindly said they wouldn't be able to deliver until after 7 At 8.10 we rang and said is there anything wrong? At 8.30 the food arrived oh dear The onion bhaji were great big bland doughy batter balls with scraps of onion hiding inside. Somewhere. Probably. The Lollipo Chicken - instead of being spicy, deep fried marinated chicken wings - was tandoori drumsticks, incredibly salty and tasting hugely of fish sauce. Fish sauce?? Strange, but 4 people said this tastes really fishy. Fishy chicken?? Hmm, the remainder were thrown away. The lamb vindaloo and lamb korma were practically identical. Someone may have tossed a bit more chilli and a dash of vinegar into the vindaloo, but that's it. Both bland and gormless. And the lamb was like chewing on pieces of car tyre. Tough and tasteless. Not simmered nearly enough. And yes, very, very salty. Predictably the butter chicken was, well, like something out of a jar. Exactly the same jar that provided the sauce for the paneer butter masala. Identical. Bland. Boring. The rice? Sticky, gluggy and totally overcooked. Unlike the the garlic naan which was totally undercooked, with crunchy peppery garlic inside. A treat for lovers of raw garlic breath. Did I mention the salt? It was as though the lid had come off the salt jar and infused everything with four times as much of the stuff as is normal. All in all, an unforgettable meal. And the sooner I can forget it, the happier I'll be.

Hiding in the CAE building, Journal is relaxed, communal tables, simple Italian-inspired food (summer - a soup, main, salads, rolls, bruschetta etc) well prepared with excellent ingredients and attention to detail. Add a small range of good-value local and Italian wines by the glass, good coffee and you'll wonder why you would go anywhere else for a quick bite?
