Preston-Snoqualmie Trail We hike almost every weekend all through the winter, so we don't let a little rain stop us.  But Hank, and especially, Tim aren't fond of thunder. It's not a good idea to be at the top of a mountain 4...

Prepping an RV for Winter Living
Before we started living in our RV full-time, my husband just drained the tanks and water lines, added antifreeze, plugged in a dehumidifier, covered it and parked it over the winter.  We tried using it a couple of times on camping trips in the colder month...

Looks Good.
I went a step further and covered my insulated hose with 3" plastic drain hose cut in half. It helped in the ice storm and -1° temps!

I'm probably out somewhere hiking with my dogs!
Introduction
I'm a lifelong resident of the beautiful Pacific Northwest near Seattle, WA. From a young age I've enjoyed the outdoors, hiking, camping, birdwatching, gardening, traveling, sports, spending time with friends and family and and of course, my pets.

In 2005 I discovered Mia Bella Candles and became a Scent-sations Distributor.  I enjoy buying my favorite candles at about half price plus earn income from home!

To express my creative side I enjoy writing on my blogs: Adventures of Border Collies in the Burbs Border Collies in the Burbs and Pacific NW Travels and Tails and on HubPages with the handle PNWtravels.  If you would like to create your own free webpages (and possibly earn a little extra money) you can write on HubPages, too!

I'm also learning more about photography and use the photos I take to make products for my store on Zazzle.

Bragging rights
I'm surviving living in an RV with 240 square feet!
