I´m building a main nav for a simple site. I have two single pages: homepage and contact, and a Structure section with several entries, some nested.

I want to create a nav with just the entries that is not nested (only level 1 pages from the structure section and also the single pages).

I got it to work with this code, but I guess there is a much easier way to output all the top level entries, without the entries that have a parent entry  ?

 {% set params ={ section: 'homepage, contact, pages'} %}

      {% for page in craft.entries.find(params) %}
        {% if not page.parent %}
          <a href="{{page.url}}" class="button radius expand">{{page.title}}</a>
       {% endif %}
      {% endfor %}

Any advice? PS! If someone has a link to some themes, or beginner tutorials I would be very happy.

I have tried this, but when I use depth(1) or <=1 I get the correct entries from the Structures session, but my single section entries doesn´t show at all when I do it like this (homepage and contact page).

Seems like these singles entries doesn´t work with depth variable.
  {% set params ={
      section: 'homepage, contact, pages',
      depth: '<=1',
    } %}
      {% for page in craft.entries.find(params) %}
          <a href="{{page.url}}" class="button radius expand">{{page.title}}</a>
      {% endfor %}

Is this feature with tags still on the roadmap or is it released? Trying to search for tags but I´m not able to figure where it is because I only find pop:tags information.

Is there an article about best practice on how to implement tags when setting up blog functionality?

I guess I could use categories, but not sure how to best implement this. A blog article could be in the Main Category: Marketing, but I would like to tag it with tags like: Facebook, Social Media, Beginner, How-to . The tags should be clickable to get a list of all Facebook related blog posts.

The entry(blog article) should be linked to both a category and also different tags.

Found this on the support forum: http://support.webpop.com/discussions/problems/852-tagging-for-entries

"Both tagging and multiple categorizations (and cross-section
categorizations) are on the roadmap, but it's too early to say when we'll get there".

"That said, some people have simply taken advantage of creating a tree of categories with subcategories and used the fact that one entry can belong to several categories to solve this kind of problem. "

Hey Eirik,

It sounds like it would be possible to do what you are describing with just categories.

The <pop:categories> tag is contextual. So if all your posts are in the same section, you can get a linked list of the categories which a blog entry belongs to by adding this inside the <pop:content> tag of the entry template:

<pop:categories wrap="ul" break="li">
  <a href="<pop:permalink/>"><pop:title/></a></pop:categories>

Working on a new site with many images. The plan is to go mobile first with Foundation 4. It´s easy to resize the images in the mobile layout, but Im trying to figure out how we the easiest way can load larger images on ipad, and desktops (this is not background images in css, but gallery images). Also it would be great to server larger images on retina displays.

(Modernizer, Zepto/Jquery, or server-side JS)

Is there someone that have done this with WebPop? Users have no idea how to resize images before they upload, so the resize and CDN functionality of WebPop is great.

Hey so I put together a little MVP of a picture fill extension for a single image field:
https://gist.github.com/ruemic/5416647

Essentially, you'd just need to save the picture.coffee file in your /extensions folder and customize it to suit your needs

The you can use something like:

<pop:picture:responsive field="image" resize="fit"  width="300"/>

In any of your templates.

In this case the image field is simply called "image" but you can pass in the name of any image field within the scope of the content.

Let me know if you have any questions / feedback. I'll likely rework this a bit to add to the github repo and also make a gallery version. But I hope this gets you started on the right track.
