I agree with Yelp, Pluto is still a planet in my heart.

How is this different from Bump (bu.mp) that Google acquired back in December of 2013?  Literally, that whole app would use an accelerator to determine when a gesture was performed and then use location pairing (can't remember if it was bluetooth or wifi) to establish a connection and transfer data.  Let's see if this actually gets issued.

Sweet, Google Photos doesn't display Spheres anymore.  Two steps forward, one step back.

I'm glad there are executives like Irving in Silicon Valley and I do truly believe that he sincerely wants to change GoDaddy, but until he changes the name, he is trying to have his cake and eat it to. He is banking on name recognition and people that do not care about GoDaddy's EXTREMELY sexist past to still drive some business all while changing the culture to attract people like me who don't support the likes of Hobby Lobby and Chick-Fil-A because of their executive's beliefs. If Irving truly wanted to make a statement, put his (and his company's) money where his mouth is and publicly change GoDaddy's name. That is truly is the only way to shake the shackles of GoDaddy's past. Until that time, there is no amount of restructuring that will make me use or recommend GoDaddy.

Although I think Pebble has hit the nail on the head with their smart watch, first with the original and then with the Time (7 DAY BATTERY, color e-paper @ 30fps, voice replies, timeline & smart bands), a WiFi watch would be pretty cool also.  If it takes your WiFi credentials from your android phone and allow you to, for example, keep your phone plugged in at your desk but walk all throughout your office and still get notifications/emails/text (VoIP) would be pretty interesting.  Granted, this is all on the supposition that the battery is not drastically affected (Apple, Google and the crew still don't get battery is the #1 must have for a smart watch, but they'll learn soon).

7 years after the initial release and 3 years after the release of the next iteration (2012, VC11), Microsoft is still officially releasing DLLs compiled using Visual Studios 2008 (VC9).  Thanks for that.
