Don't mix Ubuntu.Components 1.3 and 1.2!
All you brave souls out there rocking with Ubuntu.Components 1.3, update all of your uses in one. And go for QtQuick 2.4 also. Mix and match may be cool when you're getting a pita or frozen joghurt, but in QML it leads to non-obvious side effects. Remember, there's a ton of changes in the theming and some API differences so even a Page in 1.2 is not the same as in 1.3, it is internally not the same!

So what is advise? use 1.3 or stick with 1.2 for now? Or use any just make sure all qml files imports a consistent version?Aug 10, 2015
What's ETA for 1.3 working on stable versions on phones?Aug 10, 2015
I see. SO basically 1.3 is still in development and possible to break and not advisable to use for stable version of apps?Aug 10, 2015
+Zsombor Egri won't a lot of these convergence features already in 1.3 be included in the next OTA (OTA-6)?Aug 10, 2015
I just noticed. Most of the components in Unity8 still use old versions, even 0.1. Aren't those suppose to be updated already so that we can benefit with visual and performance improvements?Aug 11, 2015
+Zsombor Egri you're the man! I think some high level guidance for those not paying attention or new would be appreciated. I consider myself in the know... But I'm personally never sure.Aug 11, 2015
