Heat Death/Big Freeze
The first way to destroy the universe is heat death. According to physics, there is a law called, the law of Entropy. This law states that whatever energy in the universe will be converted to unusable energy, in this case, heat energy. All processes in the universe will come to an end as they do not have enough energy to power them. Everything will be dark and gloomy, and in the end, even heat energy will run out.
