Yesterday I clicked on a video posted on another social media site. Right away a popup appeared telling me I had_to upgrade to Flash 10.1. There was no way to dismiss the popup without answering affirmatively (no "later" nor "close" button nor "no thanks" hyperlink nor 'X'). (Immediately suspicious, I closed my browser altogether, cut off my Internet connection, tried to "logout" but couldn't, then used a command line tool [not a GUI] to forcibly restart the whole system, and cleared my browser's cache. I seem to have escaped with no permanent damage, and the offending video post is now "gone".) Browsers are so tight about refusing to show popups that don't provide any way to close them that I've never ever seen such a thing before. But this time the browser somehow got fooled. My question: does anybody know exactly how the malware managed to display a popup that provided no way to "close" itself?

May take some work to get this. Sing the song all the way to the very end.

Saw my first motorized faders on a sound board last night. Webbed around and found they'd been available for ages. Boy do I feel old.
